The giant African carnivorous dinosaur Carcharodontosaurus saharicus, often called the "African T-rex" is one of the largest carnivores to ever live on Earth! It grew to lengths of over 40 feet and weighed in at 8.5 tons, rivaling the infamous T-rex in size! It's giant serrated teeth can be over 4 inches and are highly prized among collectors!

A warning about the "African T-rex" thing, please be careful with that. C-saharicus and T-rex weren't even remotely closely related (taxonomically cats and dogs are more closely related than these two) and lived millions of years and thousands of miles apart from each other. Any "T-rex" tooth you see not from America, is probably this guy. Which is fine, C-saharicus is an amazing dinosaur who should get more attention, but please be honest and beware those who aren't.
