This is a Beautiful Fossil Megalodon Shark Tooth from the Southeastern U.S.! Megalodon (Carcharocles megalodon) was the largest known species of shark to have ever lived. It grew to over 60 feet (18 meters) in length and fed primarily on large marine mammals including whales, dolphins, seals, manatees, and even the occasional Mammoth out for a swim. A great addition to any fossil collection or gift for aspiring paleontologists, the tooth measures 5.575 inches (14.16 cm) along its longest edge and 4.6 inches (11.68 cm) wide with fantastic serrations and no repair, restoration, or alteration!

A fantastic piece from one of the largest and most terrifying predators to ever live!
