Collection: Pachycephalosaurus

Pachycephalosaurus was strange and unusually rare herbivorous dinosaur. It grew to nearly 15 feet long and one thousand pounds, roamed North America from 70 to 65 million years ago. They fed on soft leaves, seeds, and fruit, slicing them up with their (surprisingly) small leaf-shaped serrated teeth. Their most striking feature being the large dome on their skull, up to 9 inches thick! The exact purpose of this dome has been debated for decades. The most well know theory is that the animals used their domes in "headbutting contests" similar to modern bighorn sheep. The domes were very ornate, being surrounded by boney knobs and spikes! Don't miss your chance to own a piece of one of the most iconic and rare dinosaurs in the world!
