This is a Beautiful GIGANTIC Woolly Mammoth molar from the Pleistocene of Siberia! The molar is in fantastic condition with terrific enamel and zero repair or restoration! It has been coated in a layer of Paraloid B72 for extra stabilization! Mammoths are a type of elephant with long curved tusks. The Woolly Mammoth lived in all northern areas in the late Pleistocene from 400 to 4 thousand years ago. It stood up to 11 feet tall (3.3 meters) and weighed up to 6.5 tons. The molar measures a WHOPPING 11.32 inches (28.75 cm) across, weighs 144 ounces, and displays beautifully free standing! A great opportunity to own a piece of the most iconic Ice Age mammal!
