This is a beautiful Monster Size fossil tooth from the Extinct Great White Shark (Cosmopolitodus hastalis) from North Carolina! The tooth is in terrific condition and measures 2.6 inches (6.6 cm) along its longest edge with no repair or restoration!
Extinct Great White: (Cosmopolitodus hastalis) The ancestor to the modern Great White Shark, the Extinct Great White Shark first appeared 30 million years ago. It grew to over 20 feet (6 meters) in length and fed primarily on large fish, marine mammals, and smaller sharks.
