This is a labeled collection of 6 authentic (YES THESE ARE REAL!!!) Beautiful Mosasaur teeth from the late Cretaceous of Morocco! Mosasaurs are huge carnivorous marine reptiles that lived alongside dinosaurs from 101 to 66 million years ago. Some approached 60 feet (18 meters) in length! They aren't dinosaurs but are close relatives of snakes and lizards! The teeth are displayed in a 6.25 x 5.25 x 1.25 Inch Riker Mount! Each one of the six teeth comes from a different species, showing a glimpse into the impressive diversity of Mosasaur species!
The six species of Mosasaur are:
Mosasaurus beaugei: 1.8 inches (4.57 cm) with a repaired break.
Thalassotitan atrox: 1.87 inches (4.75 cm) with no repair or restoration.
Hainosaurus boubkar: 1.83 inches (4.66 cm) with a repaired break.
Eremiasaurus heterodontus: 1.57 inches (3.98 cm) with no repair or restoration.
Gavialimimus almaghribensis: .97 inches (2.46 cm) with no repair or restoration.
Globidens sp.: .77 inches (1.96 cm) with no repair or restoration.
