This is a GORGEOUS Top Quality Woolly Mammoth molar from the Pleistocene of Siberia! The molar is in Incredible condition with terrific enamel, a magnificent root, and zero repair or restoration! It has been coated in a layer of Paraloid B72 for extra stabilization! Mammoths are a type of elephant with long curved tusks. The Woolly Mammoth lived in all northern areas in the late Pleistocene from 400 to 4 thousand years ago. It stood up to 11 feet tall (3.3 meters) and weighed up to 6.5 tons. The molar measures 7 inches across (17.78 cm) and weighs 60.9 ounces! A great opportunity to own a piece of the most iconic Ice Age mammal!
