This is a Beautiful Huge Woolly Mammoth molar from the Pleistocene of Siberia! The molar is in fantastic condition with terrific enamel and zero repair or restoration! It has been coated in a layer of Paraloid B72 for extra stabilization! Mammoths are a type of elephant with long curved tusks. The Woolly Mammoth lived in all northern areas in the late Pleistocene from 400 to 4 thousand years ago. It stood up to 11 feet tall (3.3 meters) and weighed up to 6.5 tons. The molar measures 8.75 inches (22.2 cm) across, weighs 92.2 ounces, and displays beautifully standing on it's own! A great opportunity to own a piece of the most iconic Ice Age mammal!
