This is a Woolly Mammoth molar from a juvenile the Pleistocene of Siberia! The molar is in good condition with terrific enamel, a partial root, and zero repair or restoration! It has been coated in a layer of Cyanoacrylate superglue for extra stabilization! The molar is very small for a Mammoth molar and has little feeding wear, indicating it came from a very young individual! Mammoths are a type of elephant with long curved tusks. The Woolly Mammoth lived in all northern areas in the late Pleistocene from 400 to 4 thousand years ago. It stood up to 11 feet tall (3.3 meters) and weighed up to 6.5 tons. It measures 2.72 inches long, 3.02 inches tall, and 2.02 inches thick (6.91 x 7.67 x 5.13 cm) and weighs 10.45 ounces! A great opportunity to own a piece of the most iconic Ice Age mammal!
