This is a wonderful Partial Hand Claw from the bizarre Ostrich Mimic dinosaur Struthiomimus sedens from the infamous Hell Creek Formation in Powder River County, Montana, USA! Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" and like the name suggests looked like an ostrich with a long neck, small head, and toothless beak. It being a dinosaur also had a long stiff tail and long arms with claws. These strange members of the Theropod family, usually known for carnivorous dinosaurs like T-rex and Velociraptor, was most likely an herbivore or omnivore. This species is estimated to grow to 19 feet long and 6 and a half feet tall and weighed up to 930 pounds. The claw measures 1.02 inches (2.6 cm) long, .55 inches (1.4 cm) tall, and .39 inches (1 cm) wide with no repair or restoration! It comes in a labeled 6.25 x 5.25 x .75 inch riker mount for easy transport and display! It makes a fantastic addition to any dinosaur and fossil collection this is a great opportunity to own a piece of one of the most unusual dinosaurs to ever live!
